We are seeking a Custom Cake Retail Sales “Cake Designer” to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting clients designing cakes for weddings, birthdays, showers and many other special occasions. From conception through completion, you will be working independently & as part of a team. We receive information via email, phone & in person.
Responsibilities:
- Search and price design concepts for clients’ dessert needs
- Calculate and propose budgets for themed cakes & desserts
- Coordinate all details for production of last minute orders
- Restock pastries in display
- Making boxes & light cleaning
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or a related field such as food service
- Individuals with interest or experience in social media, & marketing are also needed
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well in teams & independently
We are a growing company located in Westwood, MA on RT 1. We have part-time and full-time positions available; no late nights! Hours can be as few as Weekends Only (8+ hours) or up to full time (40 hours). Please submit all inquiries and applications to kitchen.dessertworks@hotmail.com.
