Custom Cake Retail Sales

We are seeking a Custom Cake Retail Sales “Cake Designer” to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting clients designing cakes for weddings, birthdays, showers and many other special occasions. From conception through completion, you will be working independently & as part of a team. We receive information via email, phone & in person.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning or a related field such as food service is beneficial
• Individuals with interest or experience in social media, & marketing are also needed
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well in teams & independently

We are a growing company located in Westwood, MA on RT 1. ; no late nights! Our bakery is open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm, & Sundays 10 to 3. Position is full time (40 hours).

Part Time Retail Associate

We are looking to hire an individual whose primary responsibilities would include:

• maintaining retail store: keeping clean, box making, restocking product & recording inventories
• First point of contact customer service, greeting, helping customers choose desserts, ensuring customer’s orders are correct at pick up
• light kitchen side work: packing cookie orders, assisting kitchen in non-technical duties

Cake & Pastry Assembly/Decorator

This position is full time, 5 days/week, minimum 1 weekend day required; no late nights. The ideal candidate should be able to slice cakes proficiently & follow recipe execution. Candidates with experience frosting and decorating cakes is a plus.
